Depending on their natural resistance and durability, we treat them or not.<\/p>\n<p>Sustainable timber sourcing: we carefully select the best softwood from local PEFC- and FSC-certified forests: Pine, Douglas Fir, Larch and Spruce.<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-453 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.piveteaubois.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Pin.jpg\" alt=\"Pin\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>PINE<\/h2>\n<p>With a reddish-brown heartwood that\u2019s naturally durable and a light, non-durable but highly impregnable sapwood, Pine is highly suited for treatment (CL4) and offers high mechanical resistance. Its high proportion of heartwood and its great mechanical resistance make it the timber species of choice for structural components.
