WOOD THAT WITHSTANDS THE CHALLENGE OF TIME

Our vacuum pressure autoclaves provide deep impregnation of Pine after it has been kiln-dried.

WOOD THAT WITHSTANDS THE CHALLENGE OF TIME

To enable effective timber impregnation, all our timber is first kiln-dried. Our vacuum pressure impregnation autoclaves provide deep timber treatment, thus making it resistant to the elements and extending its lifetime.

LONGEVITY

The technology protects against biological attacks from wood-boring insects (including termites) and rot caused by fungus.
DURAPIN is particularly effective for all timber in contact with the ground or fresh water, laid out horizontally or for external timber structures. DURAPIN is guaranted 15 years in ground contact and 20 years above ground.

COMPLIANCE

DURAPIN enables the choice of material to be specified by contractors.

MECHANICAL STRENGTH

The manufacturing process does not change the mechanical properties of timber. Our timber is compliant with CE marking.
DURAPIN opens up the use of timber to a great number of applications, including external structures.

HQE APPROACH

Our timber is preserved effectively and safely (health, hygiene and the environment). Safety Data Sheets are available upon request.
At the end of its life, DURAPIN, is considered a non-hazardous waste.

ABUNDANT TIMBER SPECIE

Pine makes up 16% of the French forests area. In France, and more broadly in Europe, harvested timber is less than the biological production of forests. Harvesting represents only 60% of its annual growth.
The controlled management of Pine promotes the renewal of our forests.

MONITORED RESOURCES

In most European forests, reforestation and logging are carried out in accordance with the life-cycle of the forest. The PEFC (Programme Européen des Forets Certifiées) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certifications certify the sustainable management of forests.

RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Each year, the 22,000 m3 of water used for the DURAPIN technology are released by gradual evaporation and 55,000 m3 are recovered by the internal rainwater collection network.
